Community submission guidelines
What to submit, what to avoid, and how the moderation queue keeps Discord Wire News useful and safe.
Welcome submissions
- Public news tips with source context and a clear correction path.
- Server listings with category, tags, rules summary, language, region, purpose, and safety notes.
- Bot listings with permissions, setup notes, website or invite link, screenshots, and safety posture.
- Culture stories, creator spotlights, interviews, and event listings shared with consent.
Do not submit
- Discord passwords, account tokens, bot tokens, backup codes, or private credentials.
- Private server logs, private messages, doxxing, harassment, or non-consensual screenshots.
- Listings that impersonate Discord, imply official endorsement, or hide the destination of links.
- Instructions for spam, raids, abuse, credential theft, scraping private content, or evasion.
Moderation states
Submissions can be pending, needs changes, approved, rejected, or featured. Reports can temporarily hide or flag listings until reviewed.
